Most Child Abuse reports, based on Child Welfare Agencies Figures, only take percentages from allegations reported. However, if one takes figures based on the number of families with children in the US, real child abuse is about 1/2 of a percent.

However, the Child Welfare Agencies highly publicize the unfortunate incidents. How many times have you seen an article that talks about how families in need or any family are doing a great job with their children???????? I'm still waiting and looking for those articles. Yes, there is true child abuse. But many states CW agencies are taking the stand, if there is even the slightest hint, ie reported allegation, there must be a problem and children must be removed and we will determine later. Is this right???

Seems like the Social Workers missed Family Class 101 since everyone should know, ever time a child is removed, this is very traumatic for the child. And the damage done by this can be even worse than the so called abuse.

I have been a Foster Parent, now retired, and now GranPa to a three generation family. Had many heart warming stories of reunification of children to their parents. However, my wife and I asked too many questions about the system and care of children. Got on CPS's Black List and a shotgun effect of False Allegations were charged against us. What started it, an active 3 year old had a small bump on her head, where she fell down. Sound Familiar??
